You don’t always have to go across the pond to explore other cultures. Sometimes the international experience you’re in search of is right at the McDonald’s drive-through.
The Big Mac giant earlier this week introduced four signature items to its American menus that hail from Australia, Canada, the Netherlands and Spain. The company has dubbed the menu options, which will be available for a limited time, as its Worldwide Favorites. The items, which were introduced June 5, are the cheesy bacon fries from Australia, tomato-mozzarella chicken sandwich from Canada, Stroopwafel McFlurry from the Netherlands and the meaty marvel that is the Grand McExtreme Bacon Burger from Spain.

Cheesy Bacon Fries from Australia
Though cheesy fries are offered at a number of chains, the Cheesy Bacon Fries from Australia are made from “premium potatoes like the Russet Burbank and the Shepody,” and covered in real cheddar cheese sauce as well as chopped Applewood smoked bacon. The fries will cost you 560 of your daily calories.

Tomato Mozzarella Chicken Sandwich from Canada
For a taste north of the border, McDonald’s customers can try the Tomato Mozzarella Chicken Sandwich. It’s topped with creamy mozzarella cheese, sliced roma tomatoes, fresh lettuce and herb sauce. The crispy chicken breast served on an artisan roll is 690 calories.

Stroopwafel McFlurry from the Netherlands
The Netherlands’ Stroopwafel McFlurry comes just in time for summer. It’s a blend of vanilla soft serve with Daelman’s Stroopwafel crispy caramel waffle cookie pieces and a rich caramel swirl. This new dessert comes in at 650 calories.

Grand McExtreme Bacon Burger from Spain
The doozy out of the four Worldwide Favorites is the Grand McExtreme Bacon Burger from Spain. The burger features thick-cut Applewood smoked bacon topped on a 100% fresh beef patty, which is 4 ounces before cooking and is cooked to order. Layered with smoky McBacon sauce and two slices of real gouda cheese on a sesame seed bun, it’s no wonder the cousin to the Big Mac is 750 calories.
