The victim, who we are not identifying, told WSB-TV on Tuesday that she and her family are staying with other family members.

But police said the accused attacker, William Chirnos, sexually assaulted the victim while she was asleep with her husband.

"I have never in my entire life, never felt more violated and uncomfortable then I do now," the victim said in a video she posted on her Facebook page.

We made the choice to blur out her face and we’re not using her name because she’s a sexual assault victim.

“If it can happen to me, it can happen to anybody, anybody. People, just keep yourself safe. Keep your kids safe,” the victim said.

The woman said she and her husband were asleep when she felt someone grope her. She woke up, startling the man who stood near the bed, and he ran away.

She told police that she did not know the attacker but later recognized him as a neighbor after police questioned him.

“To think somebody has been watching me and somebody that I see that’s around my house did this,” the victim said.

A man and woman inside Chirnos’ said they were not family members and had little to say about the incident.

“He’s a good boy. I don’t know what happened,” they said.

Chirnos is facing a list of charges including sexual battery. He is currently being held on $25,000 bond.
