A woman reportedly found the shark after two men ran out of the pool area.

The shark was promptly removed from the pool and set free in the Intracoastal Waterway.

Because the investigation is ongoing, photos of the shark were not made publicly available.

Blacktip sharks are one of the most common shark species in south Florida and are saltwater fish. They are typically responsible for bites in murky water where they mistake a limb for a fish.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission will continue to investigate the incident.
