Little Caesars has introduced a new menu item: a deep-dish pizza with a crust wrapped in 3 1/2 feet of bacon.
The dish, dubbed the Bacon-Wrapped Crust DEEP!DEEP! Dish pizza, includes two types of bacon and pepperoni on a Detroit-style crust.
Starting Feb. 23, the pizza will be available for a limited time at Little Caesars restaurants nationwide for $12 plus tax where applicable.
Little Caesars says it is the first quick-service restaurant to offer a pizza with a bacon-wrapped crust.
"We are the only national pizza chain to make our dough fresh each day in-store. That gives us a unique opportunity to try new ideas,” said Little Caesars Pizza President and CEO David Scrivano. "The Bacon-Wrapped Crust DEEP!DEEP! Dish is another example of how we're continuing to innovate and offer variety on our menu while fully leveraging our core strengths built around value, convenience and quality."
