Clemma and Sterling Elmore of Wewoka, Oklahoma, are Welch-Christ’s sister-in-law’s grandparents. Wlech-Christ says she always wanted to do a photo shoot spotlighting legacy.

The Elmores were the perfect subjects. Welch-Christ used a vintage truck in the photographs to set the tone for the shoot. The shoot even featured handwritten love notes.

“You are my life and my true love. Love you always and forever,” read one note.

The couple held hands and kissed each other for the photos.

Welch-Christ posted shots from the shoot to Facebook, where they quickly went viral.

“These two very special people have left a legacy that is pretty special,” Welch-Christ wrote.
