Cardi B has been indicted by a grand jury on unspecified charges related to a brawl that happened last year at a New York strip club.
The exact charges will remain sealed until her arraignment next week, media outlets reported. Cardi B rejected a plea deal in April to a class A misdemeanor for the alleged attack.
The rapper was arrested in October for allegedly attacking two bartenders on Aug. 29, 2018, at a Queens strip club. Cardi B allegedly suspected one of the bartenders, who are sisters, was having an affair with her husband, Offset, NBC News reported.
The bartenders claimed they were injured by bottles and chairs that were thrown inside the club. Cardi B was caught on video throwing an ice bucket at the sisters, according to NBC News. In December, a judge ordered her to stay away from the sisters.
Cardi B didn’t immediately respond to media requests for comment.
