Alabama vs. Clemson: What time is kickoff for the College Football Championship game; what channel?

Hundreds of games, weeks of speculation, endless polls and playoff wins have brought the Clemson Tigers and the Alabama Crimson Tide to Monday's College Football Playoff Championship game.

Here are some things to know about tonight’s game:

Who is playing:  No. 1 Clemson Tigers (14-0, 8-0 ACC) will play the No. 2 Alabama Crimson Tide (13-1, 7-1 SEC)

Where: The game is being played at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Ariz.

What time: Kickoff is 8:30 p.m. (ET)

Which channel: The game is on ESPN --  Channel 206 on DirecTV; Channel 602 on AT&T U-verse; Channel 140 on Dish Network.

Live stream: The game will be streamed live on WatchESPN and broadcast on Sirus channel 80 and XM channel 80.

Other ways to watch: ESPN is offering a number of "non-traditional" ways to watch Monday's game. One, called "Film Room," says "ESPN analysts Brian Griese and Chris Spielman, along with additional guests, who will provide in-depth analysis of the game as it happens from a film room equipped with multiple camera angles, clicker technology and telestration." Weather at kickoff:  The temperature will be 49 and clear at kickoff.

About the stadium: The stadium has 63,400 permanent seats, but can be expanded to seat 72,200 seats. It is enclosed. It has 77 public restrooms, 47 concession stands and two high resolution video scoreboards measuring 27' x 96' and 59' x 164'.
