Radio host Erick Erickson expressed his opposition towards the New York Times' editorial on gun control in the United States by taking the print edition to a Georgia gun club.

The Saturday print edition of the New York Times features a rare front-page editorial about gun control in the United States.

"It is a moral outrage and a national disgrace that civilians can legally purchase weapons designed specifically to kill people with brutal speed and efficiency," the New York Times wrote in their first A1 editorial since 1920.

"The New York Times wants you to be sitting ducks for a bunch of arms jihadists," Erickson wrote in a blog post Saturday afternoon.

Erickson took his print edition to Shot Spot, a gun club near the University of West Georgia, and put approximately seven holes in it.

He ended his post with the hashtags #glock #pewpew #2A and #guns.

The Georgia radio host himself took fire on social media from comedians and activists.

Erickson is a prominent conservative radio host in the metro Atlanta area.

In August, he disinvited Donald Trump from the RedState Gathering after the presidential candidate's comments about Fox News host Megyn Kelly.
