After days of counts across the country in battleground states, Joe Biden has been projected as president-elect of the United States. Kamala Harris, his running mate and U.S. senator, is vice president-elect. They have reached more than 270 Electoral College votes to win the election.
The election has drawn attention from leaders, observers and celebrities across the world, including former president Barack Obama, whom Biden served alongside as vice president.
