Chef, author and lifestyle mogul Martha Stewart is celebrating her 80th birthday Aug. 3.

Stewart’s brand marked the occasion by posting stunning throwback photos of her on Instagram. “Happy birthday to our founder, @marthstewart48, who has taught us that it’s never too late to learn the Good Things in life. 🎂,” the caption reads.

Before she built her brand at 50 and became the world’s first self-made female billionaire, Stewart earned money as a model beginning at age 13. Showing no signs of slowing down, she noted to ET last year that she is still in her “heyday.”

“Just eat well, exercise well, garden, climb mountains,” she said of her beauty secrets. “I climbed Kilimanjaro. For goodness sake, I went up into the Himalayas. You have to do that kind of stuff. That’s the kind of stuff that keeps one vibrant and young and it’s important.”

Stewart has racked up many accomplishments through the years, which include having written bestselling books, television programs, publishing and merchandising.

In 2004, her career took a surprise turn when Stewart was convicted of multiple financial crimes and spent five months at Alderson Federal Prison Camp in West Virginia.

She said of the experience to Harper’s Bazaar, “I was strong going in and I was certainly stronger going out.”

Another surprise came in 2016, when Stewart partnered with friend Snoop Dogg in VH1′s “Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party,” a show featuring the duo cooking and chatting with celebrity guests. In 2019, the show was turned into a competition called “Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Party Challenge,” which was judged by celebrity guests.

“Snoop and I have a special bond that dates back to when he first appeared on the “Martha Stewart Show” in 2008. Our relationship was born from our connection to food as we whipped up some cognac mashed potatoes and green brownies,” Stewart wrote in the foreword for Snoop’s cookbook, “From Crook to Cook: Platinum Recipes from Tha Boss Dogg’s Kitchen.”

Stewart also hosts her own show on HGTV, “Martha Knows Best,” which gives fans a behind-the-scenes look at her latest home projects.

Still on her bucket list is hosting “Saturday Night Live.”

“Saturday Night Live asked me to host. My probation officer wouldn’t give me the time,” she revealed to Harper’s Bazaar. “That really p----- me off, because I would have loved to have hosted Saturday Night Live. I’d like that on my resume.”
