Jean Trebek, the wife of Alex Trebek, is thanking fans and supporters for reaching out to her after the “Jeopardy!” host’s death.

ET Canada reported Trebek posted a photo on Instagram from the couple’s 1990 wedding. She included a message that read, “My family and I sincerely thank you all for your compassionate messages and generosity. Your expressions have truly touched our hearts. Thank you so very, very much.”

She signed it, “Many Blessings to all, Jean Trebek.”

It’s the first time she’s spoken publicly since the news of Trebek’s death. He died Nov. 8 at age 80 of pancreatic cancer. He revealed his diagnosis in March 2019.

The final “Jeopardy!” episode to feature Trebek as host will air on Christmas.
