The body of a Northeast Georgia woman has been found by local deputies.

Amanda Hall was found Wednesday, according to the Banks County Sheriff’s Office.

“Deputies were conducting a grid search of a heavily wooded area in the proximity of Mrs. Hall’s last known whereabouts when she was located,” the department said.

Local investigators and the coroner’s office are working to determine the cause of death.

An autopsy is scheduled for later in the week.
