Parents looking to increase their child’s physical activity are in luck.

The YMCA is hosting is 28th annual Healthy Kids Day Festival on Saturday to keep children’s mind and bodies active ahead of summer, according to a release about the event.

“When kids are out of school, they can face hurdles that prevent them from reaching their full potential,” YMCA spokeswoman Reagan Goodnough said in the release. “Research shows that without access to physical and learning activities, kids fall behind academically.

According to the U.S. Department of Human Health, a third of children are physically active every day and many spend more than seven-and-a-half hours in front of a screen.

The event, held nationally across all YMCA locations, will feature a kid obstacle course, family Zumba and yoga classes and healthy snacks.
