A Tucker man was sentenced Friday in the stabbing death of a co-worker -- one of many women he was charged with watching illegally through a hidden camera.
Keri Harris, 31, was killed in June 2008 in an office at Cargill Food Processing Co. in Doraville. A day after her death, Craig Armstead, now 39, was pulled over by officers in Tucker and charged in the stabbing. He was sentenced to life plus an additional 65 years in prison.
Armstead, who served five years for voluntary manslaughter in New Jersey before being hired by Cargill, was also found guilty of 18 counts of unlawful surveillance at the food processing plant, DeKalb County District Attorney's Office spokesman Orzy Theus said. The defendant placed a camera inside one of Cargill's women’s restrooms to videotape Harris and other women, Theus said.
