Woodstock has agreed to reimburse Cherokee County more than $283,000 total for resurfacing portions of Arnold Mill and Barnes roads.

The City Council approved an intergovernmental agreement with the county to pay $209,438 for resurfacing 0.8 miles of Arnold Mill, from Woodstock Fire Station 14 to Neese Road; and $73,920 for resurfacing 0.2 miles of Barnes, from Trickum Road to the Little River Fire Station, according to the agreement.

The project is part of the county’s 2020 road resurfacing program. The city will have 48 hours from the completion of the work to inspect it and notify the county of any deficiencies.
