The Discover Woodstock Scavenger Hunt returns for the seventh year to the Cherokee County community on Friday, Aug. 2, with the change for participants to win a $100 Downtown Dollars gift certificate and other prizes donated by local businesses.

Clue sheets will be released at 10 a.m. Friday. They will be available at the Woodstock Visitors Center, 8588 Main St., and online at VisitWoodstockGa.com/scavenger-hunt.

Participants have two weeks to complete as many of the tasks or challenges as they can, backed up by photographic evidence of 100 different sites, through Aug. 17. Information: 770-924-0406.
