DeKalb County police are investigating the shooting of a 34-year-old woman outside a Flat Shoals Road liquor store.

The woman was in critical condition when transported from Eddie’s Package Store to the hospital Monday night, but was expected to survive, said Lt. Lonzy Robertson of the police department.

The shooting was shortly before 11:30 p.m. The perpetrator was said to be a man in a white truck.

“She was able to walk to Flat Shoals Road where a passerby noticed her on the ground and called 911,” Robertson said.

Further details weren’t released.
