Buckhead residents will get an opportunity to win a $100 gift card and other prizes simply by walking in their neighborhood.

Livable Buckhead kicked off its monthlong walking challenge, dubbed buckheadWALKS!, to get residents and commuters energized about health and wellness. Livable Buckhead is a  non profit that promotes healthy living among residents.

“This is the perfect time of year to get outside and become more active,” Livable Buckhead Executive Director Denise Starling said in a news release about the event. “These events give people an extra incentive to take advantage of spring weather and start moving more. We also want to encourage people to explore Buckhead on foot because we think many people haven’t discovered just how walkable it is.”
