People who often drive by the busy intersection of Holcomb Bridge Road and Old Roswell Road have watched a building on the corner come closer to completion over the past few months.

Recently, a Verizon sign went up at the site where a Mobil gas station once stood.

However, the new cell phone store — which was once planned to open Feb. 1 at 680 Holcomb Bridge Road — is not yet open for business.

Verizon carriers shouldn’t have to wait too much longer, though.

The store’s new tentative open date is March 1, according to Regional Manager Jason Myers.
