Lengthy commutes are in store for DeKalb County this weekend.

The Georgia Department of Transportation will close the Ashford Dunwoody Road entrance ramp to I-285 westbound as part of the ongoing Transform 285/400 Project.

Drivers are instructed to take I-285 East to Chamblee Dunwoody Road and once on the road make a left onto I-285 West.

The closure will take place from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday.

The date may change due to weather or other factors, GDOT officials said. Motorists are cautioned to reduce their speed while traveling through work zones, pay attention and watch for workers.
