WATCH: After crashing into CVS, 3 men try (and fail) to steal ATM

After crashing through the glass entryway of a Dunwoody CVS, three burglars spent more than five minutes trying to get away with the store’s ATM, police said.

Surveillance video shows them fleeing after an unsuccessful burglary attempt at about 2:15 a.m. last Wednesday, leaving behind a disheveled scene at the front of the CVS.

The men, who Dunwoody police have not identified, backed a 2003 GMC Sierra pickup truck right through the front of the CVS at 2500 Mount Vernon Road, shattering the glass entrance and bringing down a brick column, the video shows.

They targeted an ATM that sat near the entrance, and appear to partially break it apart over the course of about five minutes.

They drove another, larger vehicle up to the entrance, but it is unclear why did not leave with the ATM. Police were called to the scene and arrived just after the men fled, the department said.

Dunwoody police are looking to identify the subjects in the video. They are believed to be between 25 and 35 years old, and weighing about 250 to 275 pounds.
