Atlanta Braves pitcher John Smoltz reacts after throwing his 3,000th career strikeout on April 22, 2008. But on Jan. 28, 2017, he’ll be at the grand opening of a new Bowlero, a hip bowling alley, in Kennesaw.

John Smoltz is synonymous with success in Atlanta.

Consider some numbers: The eight-time All Star and 2015 Hall of Fame inductee posted a filthy .789 postseason winning percentage as a Brave in his 20-year career summed up by a 3.33 ERA in 3,473 innings pitched.

And the National League pitcher somehow found time to post five career home runs.

So it makes sense that Bowlero tapped the current color man to be at the grand opening of its fancy new bowling alley in Kennesaw.

Go ahead and run over to the old Brunswick Zone XL, 755 Cobb Place Blvd., on Jan. 28 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. to get yourself a Smoltz selfie — a "Smoltzie?"

Or you can see what his arm has left and bowl with the right.

As if that weren’t enough, you can ogle over the 34 blacklight lanes, 55 arcade games, seven billiard tables and a 3,000-foot “state-of-the-art laser tag arena,” the company boasts.

There are also "10 semi-private lanes available for special occasions and private events.”

Adorning the walls are a 1965 Ford Mustang and a 1968 Chevrolet Camaro, because why not.

If you work up an appetite after some intense frames with Smoltz and enjoy going to the dentist, try the “S’Mores Skillet,” described as: “a tasty, campfire-inspired treat made with crunchy graham crackers, melted milk chocolate, jumbo marshmallows, and a drizzle of caramel.”

This item is apparently sure to “delight local foodies,” and is featured on a menu with other offers, including of a five-pound hamburger, which has no regard for the human form.

This is Cobb's second Bowlero location. The first opened Dec. 10 in Marietta at 2749 Delk Road. And this spot makes four in Georgia.
