According to Commissioner Sean Frantom, the city has been working with developers over the last few years to bring popular arcade-like golf experience and restaurant Topgolf to Augusta.

He made the announcement on Facebook Tuesday.

We don't know much about the new location yet, but WRDW News 12 reports the new range will be at 837 Cabela Drive.

The Augusta entertainment community would be the third in the state. Topgolf currently has venues in Atlanta and in Alpharetta.

Known as a "bowling alley for golfers," Topgolf blends tech, food and entertainment "to make golf more fun and entertaining," according to the company's official site.

The venues feature next-gen simulator lounges in climate-controlled hitting bays, a chef-driven menu and year-round events for families, social leagues and more.
