Q: You answered the Willie Geist question. What happened to Natalie Morales, who disappeared from “Today” around the same time?
—Anita Douglas, Dallas
A: Morales moved to Los Angeles earlier this year to become the West Coast anchor for "Today," in addition to hosting "Access Hollywood" and "Access Hollywood Live."
She talked about the move in May.
“(My family and I) have long talked about perhaps moving to the West Coast, where the sun is always shining,” Morales said on the show, which was posted on its website. “It’s going to be a good change of pace, a good lifestyle.”
She also will continue working on “Dateline NBC.”
“With our show’s increasing focus on West Coast stories, it became clear to me that having a permanent anchor presence in L.A. would be of enormous value,” NBC senior vice president Noah Oppenheim told USA Today in May.
A: Many times I’ve tried to explain Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport’s strange alphabet to travelers. In other words, why is the order T, A, B, C, D, E and F? Seems this could be changed to make more sense without too much trouble.
—Pete Bondesen, Brookhaven
A: The "T" stands for terminal because the concourse is attached to the actual terminal building at Atlanta's airport, a spokesman told Q&A on the News in an email.
