There was a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Cobb County School District’s newest elementary school Tuesday.
U.S. Rep. Karen Handel, R-Roswell, and Georgia Sen. Kay Kirkpatrick, R-Marietta, were there for the opening of Brumby Elementary School.
The school, previously on Powers Ferry Road, is now on Terrell Mill Road, around the corner from Sope Creek Elementary.
