The fourth year of an initiative launched by the city of Johns Creek’s public works department is underway.
This year, department crews will continue to repave streets in the city’s neighborhoods. Thirty neighborhoods are set to be paved this year, and crews have already started on a few.

Repaving at River Walk began on Monday, work on Blackstone began Thursday, and crews started on Bellemont Farms on Friday.
Other neighborhoods that will be repaved this year include Huntington, Concord Hall, Park at Wellington, Abbotts Walk, Hillbrooke, Kimball Parc, Hampton Square, Brookhollow, Waterford and Hunters Close.
A full schedule is available on the city's website, but is dependent on weather. All paving will be done during daylight hours and the city will update the schedule weekly.
After work is completed this year, Johns Creek’s neighborhood resurfacing program will be complete. Since 2015, a total of 107 subdivisions have been resurfaced.
The project grew out of work four years ago with a consultant who helped gauge the conditions of the city’s streets and developed a prioritized list for repaving.
