A man wearing a ‘Spiderman' mask and dreadlocks robbed a Cartersville store at gunpoint Saturday morning.

The masked man entered a rear office of the Dollar General, pointed a gun at the store manager and demanded cash, The Daily Tribune News reported.

The manager gave the man a bank deposit bag containing nearly $3,000 and a cash drawer with $700, police told the newspaper. The man briefly left the office and then returned with a store employee, ordering both people to the ground.

He then left the store and drove away in a red, four-door Ford Contour. The suspect was about 5-feet-8 inches tall and weighed about 165 pounds, the newspaper reported. He was wearing a black sweater, dark jeans.
