South Gwinnett High School is holding a weekend-long celebration of its 60th anniversary.

The Snellville school first opened its doors for the 1957-1958 school year. To mark 60 years of education, South Gwinnett will hold nine events, including alumni football, volleyball and kickball games.

The celebration has events for both alumni and their families, with a family basketball event and a cookout with food trucks, vendors and bouncy houses.

The full schedule of events is below:

Friday, Nov. 10, 2017

6-7 p.m.: Meet and greet for South Gwinnett High alumni

7-8:30 p.m.: South alumni game: blue vs. gray

Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017

9-10 a.m.: Continental breakfast (SGHS commons)

9:30 a.m.-3 p.m.: Registration and hospitality (SGHS lobby)

9:30-10:30 a.m.: SGHS family basketball clinic (B-gym)

11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.: Alumni volleyball match (new gym)

12:30-2 p.m.: Alumni kickball game (softball field)

3-6 p.m.: Family cookout on the south lawn (food truck, vendors, bouncy house)

Sunday, Nov. 12, 2017 

2-4 p.m.: 60th anniversary celebration in the theater
