Atlanta’s popular plant-based burger restaurant Slutty Vegan is giving customers a free food item Monday to celebrate the one-year anniversary of its southwest Atlanta location.

Starting at noon, the business will give away free menu items with the help of actress Keshia Knight Pulliam, TV personality A.J. Calloway, and social media personality Pretty Vee, according to a press release from the company.

Guests at the 1542 Ralph David Abernathy SW location are asked to text Slutty Vegan at 678-846-3255. Once they send the text, they will get a reply that serves as their ticket for a free menu item.

“Over the past year, we have impacted Atlanta in a huge way with our fast-casual junk food that is completely plant-based,” founder and owner Pinky Cole said in a statement. “Every day, people are standing in line for hours to experience the juicy goodness of plant-based burgers, and this is our way of showing our gratitude.”

Cole started Slutty Vegan as a food truck in summer 2018 and opened her first standalone location at 1542 Ralph David Abernathy Blvd., in the Westview neighborhood.

She is slated to open two more restaurants: one in Jonesboro and another in Atlanta at 482 Edgewood Ave., near the Eastside Beltline and the intersection of Boulevard and Edgewood.
