Columbus police are investigating a home invasion that occurred while an 18-year-old babysitter was looking after four young children.

Columbus police Lt. Steve Cox said the victims weren't hurt during the invasion early Sunday morning.

He said three men burst into a second-story apartment around 3:15 a.m. and reportedly kicked the door in before taking television sets and car keys.

Cox said the babysitter was asleep on the couch when the suspects entered and the four children — all under age 10 — didn't get up during the incident.

Police were looking for the men and a 1994 Pontiac Trans Am they took. No shots were fired during the break in.
