There’s at least one person in north Fulton County who isn’t a fan of Fani Willis.
Willis is the deputy district attorney in Fulton County, a 1996 graduate of Emory University’s law school, and is running for a county Superior Court judge.
On Sunday, according to a police report, someone pulled up to a home in Alpharetta and plucked one of her campaign signs out of the yard and drove off with it.
Police are still searching for a suspect, but the incident occurred sometime around 12:30 p.m. on Sunday.

Police spoke with the owner of the Mayfield Manor Drive home, who said the car was white and may have been a Lexus or Infinity.
Howard Miller, the public affairs officer with the Alpharetta Department of Public Safety, said political sign theft is not a “typical” problem in Alpharetta, but police did handle similar incidents leading up to the 2016 presidential election.
Miller added that this case has been inactivated due to the lack of information that could help identify a suspect.
In the race to succeed Judge Tom Campbell, who is retiring at the end of his term on Dec. 31, Willis is competing for votes against Kevin Farmer and Bobby Wolf. Farmer is a senior assistant district attorney in Clayton County and Wolf is a prosecutor for the Gwinnett County district attorney.
Willis’ campaign Facebook page has more than 1,700 likes. The election is set for May 22.
