Senior centers, pools close in Fayette County

Fayette County’s three senior centers and Peachtree City’s indoor pools are currently closed due to the coronavirus.

Fayette Senior Services’ Life Enrichment Centers at 4 Center Drive in Fayetteville and at The Gathering Place (203 McIntosh Trail) and McIntosh Place (191 McIntosh Trail) in Peachtree City are tentatively scheduled to reopen on March 30. Non-emergency medical transportation, in-home services and Meals on Wheels will still be provided; information is at 770-461-0813 and at www.fayss.org. Peachtree City’s Kedron Fieldhouse and Aquatic Center are closed until further notice, and all programs and classes have been postponed.
