New Year’s Eve will be the last “first” for The Battery in 2017.
And it seems the mixed-use area attached to the Braves' new SunTrust Park is doing it up big.
The Battery's bash boasts bunches to do for children and adults.
There will be ice sculptors, fire breathers, a DJ, pet shows, a circus performer, aerialists, acrobats and fireworks.
And it’s free.
The kid-centric events run from 5:30 to 8 p.m., including music, the trained pet act and a circus performer who says he graduated from the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Clown College.

As has been ongoing during the holiday season, there will be ice skating — $13 for adults and $10 for children 12 and younger.
Children will be able to see an inflatable baseball drop at 8 p.m. so they can feel part of the NYE magic.
But from 9 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., it’s adult time.
There will be champagne kiosks from Korbel and a fireworks display. The music will shift and out will come the aerialists and the ice sculptor.
Charles Esten — who plays Deacon Claybourne on CMT's "Nasvhille" — will perform. The cast went on a music tour this year and came to Atlanta's Chastain Park Amphitheatre on July 26.
All parking decks will be free and open that night.
