If your kids want to see sequels to “The Incredibles,” “Despicable Me” and “The LEGO Movie” (or see them again), the Mall of Georgia has your free ticket.

The mall is back with its annual Movies Under the Stars series. The mall will host live music followed by a free outdoor movie in the Village, its outdoor event space, every Saturday from June 1 to July 27. The two exceptions are June 29 and July 6, which will be replaced by the July 4 “Star-Spangled Fourth” celebration. The Village hosts many events at the mall throughout the year, from yoga and cornhole to a full ice skating rink.

The weekly events will feature musicians including the Mike Veal Band, BJ Wilbanks and The Pak. Live music will play from 6 to 8 p.m. each Saturday while kids play outside or enjoy a bounce house. Movies will begin around 8 p.m. Adults are welcome to purchase food and alcoholic beverages from the restaurants surrounding the Village and bring them to the outdoor space. All are welcome to bring blankets, folding chairs or other items to make them comfortable while watching the outdoor movies.

While the movies in the program are family friendly, they’re not just for kids. In addition to CGI films like “Ralph Breaks the Internet” and “Smallfoot,” there are also PG-13 action films “Aquaman” and “Bumblebee” planned.
