Sandy Springs has put rainfall and river elevation information for residents to review on its city Web site.
The data comes from the United States Geological Service and National Weather Service flood warning gauges in the city. The 21 gauges, operated by those agencies, report height and amount of precipitation in the region.
The real-time data is on the city’s Web site, www.sandyspringsga.org, under the Public Works and Stormwater tabs.
