Police in Roswell are searching for a man who robbed a bank on Monday afternoon.

The suspect is described as a 50-year-old man who was wearing a light-colored hat, jacket, shirt and blue jeans. He also has a short beard, according to surveillance footage, and was carrying a leather bag.

According to a police report, the man walked into the Chase Bank at 976 Mansell Road around 3:15 p.m. Monday, walked towards a teller and demanded money. Police said he did not display a weapon.

Police said the teller handed the man an undisclosed amount of cash. He put the money in the bag and fled the scene on foot.

No one was hurt in the incident, police said.
