The Roswell Adult Aquatic Center will close for about three weeks starting Monday, Oct. 22, to address an ongoing mechanical issue involving the system that supports water and air temperatures, the Recreation and Parks Department announced.

The facility tentatively is scheduled to reopen Monday, Nov. 12, officials said.

Repairs had been planned over the Thanksgiving holiday, the Parks Department said, but a recent test “revealed the malfunction was more severe than previously determined. Therefore, we will be shutting down the system and expediting these repairs in order to avoid long-term damage to the system.”

Updates will be posted at www.roswellgov.com/AquaticCenter and shared on the city's Facebook page: www.facebook.com/CityofRoswellGA.
