The Rev. Charles G. Adams will be the keynote speaker during a Center for Preaching event at Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur. The event will be held Nov. 17 through Nov. 19.

Adams is the William and Lucille Nickerson Professor of the Practice of Ethics and Ministry at Harvard Divinity School and pastor at Hartford Memorial Baptist Church in Detroit. He will speak at 9 a.m. on Nov. 18 and lead that day's worship at 4:30 p.m.

There is a $165 fee for the three-day event, which includes lunch on Nov. 18 and a continental breakfast on Nov. 19. To register call 404-687-4587.
