Atlanta, GA 30315

Score: 60

A barbecue restaurant near Turner Field failed its health inspection on Monday after officials found mold, fruit flies and dirt debris.

The Bullpen Rib House on Pollard Road received a 60/U on the inspection. On the restaurant’s previous two health inspections, it received scores of 93/A and 92/A, respectively.

The inspector found "heavy black/pink mold" in the ceiling of the ice machine and "several fruit flies" near the ware wash area. The restaurant's walls and ceiling also had dirt debris, according to the report.

The inspector also noted that the restaurant failed to properly store hamburger patties at “41 degrees or below” and “properly label” food in its cooler.

The restaurant wasn’t immediately available for comment. A follow-up inspection is scheduled for June 23.
