Pop singer Rachel Platten and alternative rock band Better Than Ezra are set to headline Brookhaven’s two-day Cherry Blossom Festival this spring.

The festival, which will take place March 28 and 29 at Blackburn Park, partnered with Live Nation on the lineup, the city of Brookhaven said in a statement Wednesday.

Platten, the singer-songwriter behind the inspirational hits “Fight Song” and “Stand By You,” will headline on Saturday the 28th.

Brookhaven’s lineup announcement called Better Than Ezra a “fixture on radio and MTV in the mid-90s,” known for singles like “Good” from the band’s breakthrough album “Deluxe.” The band is set to headline on Sunday, March 29.

The festival, which is free to attend, also features art and food vendors.

The Saturday lineup will also feature pop rock singer-songwriter Howie Day, the band Nightly and singer Saleka.

Festival attendees on Sunday can also enjoy music from country singer and Georgia native Baylee Littrell, Nashville singer-songwriter Hailey Whitters and Wesley Cook, a festival favorite from Atlanta.

The hours for the sixth annual Cherry Blossom Festival are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days; the city plans to release a detailed schedule soon.
