Prom dresses with 2009 style

Students from the Atlanta Ballet Centre for Dance Education show their moves in the latest styles of prom dresses.

Nayomi Van Brunt, 18, wears a blue floral and cheetah print gown with rhinestone accents from CC's of Rome, $189. Kendall Green, 18, models a dress with swirling floral patterns and embellished waist available at Legends for $349. A white gown with brightly colored abstract print and crystal embellishments worn by Noelle Kayser, 18, costs $194 at CC's of Rome. Ashleigh Healy, 18, wears a cheetah print halter gown with small rhinestone embellishment available for $278 at CC's of Rome.

Kendall Green, 18, and Noelle Kayser, 18, model classic black and white dresses with girlish bows. Noelle's dress (left) has a white tiered skirt accented by an asymmetrical black bow by ABS at Bloomingdale's, $430. The keyhole opening at the bodice of Kendall's black dress by Alexia Admor is emphasized with a bow. Available for $275 at Bloomingdale's.

The AJC asked students from the Atlanta Ballet Centre for Dance Education to show their moves in the latest styles, creating memorable looks that were made for a night to remember.

Allyn Davenport, 17, wears a short dress with sequined bodice, ruched waist with flower detail, and tulle skirt by Jovani available at CC's of Rome, $290.

Imani Joseph, 15, shows off a black silk multi-tiered halter dress by Tadashi, available at Bloomingdale's for $202.

Gold gown with embellishments and tulle trim is worn by Ashleigh Healy, 18, available at Legends, $309.

Ashleigh's deep-V back features criss-cross straps and with beaded detailing.

Two-piece princess gown in bright yellow with tulle skirt and beaded corset top modeled by Imani Joseph, 15, is available for $340 at Legends.

In animal, floral or abstract patterns, prints are prom perfect this season.
