A pregnant teenager reported kidnapped returned home Friday afternoon. Turns out, she wasn't kidnapped, Atlanta police said.

"She returned home to her mother and advised us that she was NOT taken against her will. She is unharmed," Sgt. Curtis Davenport said in a statement Friday afternoon.

A lookout was sent out citywide and to neighboring jurisdictions after a woman called 911 Thursday night and "advised her 14-year-old daughter witnessed a man in a white Dodge Charger snatch a 16-year-old female and put her in the car with him."

The name of the pregnant teenager is not being released because of her age, police said. She will not face charges.
