Two of three seats on the Powder Springs City Council will be contested on Nov. 7 in the general election.
For Ward 1, candidates are Alison Feliciano and Henry L. Lust. Not seeking re-election is Ward 1 Councilwoman Cheryl Sarvis. Unopposed is Ward 2 Councilwoman Doris J. Dawkins. Ward 3 candidates are Nancy Farmer and incumbent Nancy J. Hudson.
Qualifying ended Aug. 25. Those elected will serve four-year terms from Jan. 1, 2018 to Jan. 1, 2022.
