Police announce suspect arrest in Haruka Weiser death at UT, 04.08.16
Austin Police Chief Art Acevedo, along with UT officials, announced the arrest of 17-year-old Meechaiel Criner in the death of University of Texas student Haruka Weiser on Friday, April 8, 2016. Weiser was reported missing on Monday. Her body was discovered on Tuesday.
