Photos: Six men were jailed early Friday, Feb. 3, 2012,charged with murder in the overnight shooting death of a Norcross High School freshman described by a former principal as a "model student."

Nicholas Jackson played football at Norcross High and planned to go to Alabama State University, his grandmother Sherry Reid told Channel 2 Action News.

There was a small memorial for Nicholas Jackson outside his Norcross home Friday. The Norcross High School freshman was killing in a home invasion robbery.

Anthony Bernard Lumpkin, 32; Rico Dehaven West, 19, were among the six men charged in the shooting death of Nicholas Jackson II, 15.

Eddie Lewis Green, 46; Timothy Lamar Johnson, 34, are charged with with felony murder and burglary in the shooting death of Nicholas Jackson II.

Michael Davis, 23; Jason Dozier, 36, were among the six men charged in the shooting death of Nicholas Jackson II, 15.

Crime tape could be seen on the ground Friday morning, Feb. 3, 2012, on Autry Street in Nocross in front of the home where a home invasion killed a Norcross high school freshman.

Channel 2 Action News was there in February 2012 as Nicholas Jackson, Sr. walked behind the horse-drawn hearse carrying his son.
