Metro Atlanta
Photos: Former Pizza Hut buildings in metro Atlanta
Part 1: Inspired by the site Used to Be a Pizza Hut (http://UsedtobeaPizzaHut.blogspot.com/), a collection of 15 buildings across metro Atlanta that used to be Pizza Hut restaurants.

There's no mistaking the architecture of an old Pizza Hut restaurant -- the trapzoidal windows, and the low-sloping roof with the distictive hump, like a cymbal wearing a top hat. There's probably one in your neighborhood, and it probably hasn't served pizza in years. The popular website Used to Be a Pizza Hut -- or UTBAPH -- has been documenting what becomes of these buildings after the last breadsticks have been served (the website includes a worldwide map). Here are the 15 buildings listed on the UTBAPH website for metro Atlanta, and how (or if) the buildings are being used today. Let us know if there are any missing from the list, and check out Part 2 of our UTBAPH collection. (PETE CORSON / PCORSON@AJC.COM)
