Peachtree City is accepting applications for its annual Fourth of July parade. City residents, businesses, civic groups, churches and politicians can participate at no charge.

Fayette County groups in those categories can apply starting May 24; businesses must pay $50 per entry and all others $25. City residents may not apply on behalf of any business or organization outside the county. Entries must be decorated and feature a patriotic, family-friendly theme.

All applicants must read the parade rules at www.peachtree-city.org before either applying in person at the Kedron Fieldhouse or calling 770-631-2525. The final deadline is June 24, but available slots might fill before then.
