Commuters can expect delays from state crews working to pave two main roads in Sandy Springs.

The Georgia Department of Transportation is paving a new road alignment and leveling existing road sections on Johnson Ferry Road between Riverside Drive and Abernathy Road and also on Abernathy to Wright Road.

Crews are working both day and night on the project, which began on Aug. 22 and is expected to take about three weeks.
