Work on southbound I-85 will require the closure of the express lane between Jimmy Carter Boulevard and Pleasantdale Road Wednesday night.

The lane will be closed from 8 p.m. Wednesday to 5 a.m. Thursday. Contractor Massana Construction will begin preliminary soil testing as the Georgia Department of Transportation prepares to upgrade signs at 43 locations along I-85. Six of those locations will have new overhead signs.
