The Norcross Cooperative Ministry and The Quinn House each received donations of $10,000 last week from the Associated Credit Union Foundation.

The foundation is purportedly the first charitable foundation among credit unions in Georgia.

The Quinn House, which is located in Lawrenceville, is a licensed food bank, provides housing to the homeless and offers a 40-day drug and alcohol rehabilitation program. And the Norcross Cooperative Ministry provides food, clothing, prescription medicine, and financial assistance for those who may be in crisis.

“We are truly thankful, this will help so many families,” said Shirley Cabe, director of the Norcross Co-op.
